No Hands Call

As many of you know, California has a new law, it went into effect July 1st - no hands on cell phones. Our fetish to be always connected seems to be out of control and, apparently causing a lot of distractions on the road. However, this is not a post about this law, yes, once again I’ve been thinking…

What if we had this same desire “to always be connected” to the LORD (we won’t need a blue tooth for this connection). God calls us, beckons us to come and fellowship with Him, to talk with Him, to spend time with Him. Yet we are often distracted by all these fabulous technologies. Yet, to be connected to Our Maker we need absolutely nothing except an open and willing heart. With our heart open to receive, we can continually be connected to Our Master and King and o how glorious this is. He is always available. He is never busy. And, you know what, HE can do abundantly, exceedingly more than we ask or pray for – how good is that! He can actually handle all that concerns us. And when we finish talking with Him, we feel refreshed, renewed and ready to take on the world. He assures us that He will never leave us, nor forsake us, that I can do all things through Him, who strengthens me, and that He will give me all that I need to carry on. This is one conversation that is a win-win.

So pray without ceasing, in all things acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. He is longing to spend time with you – the Maker of this Universe desires to hear your voice and spend time with you, will you answer His call?

It’s sometimes very difficult for us to understand the wisdom and the love behind the things that God has planned.

But we wouldn’t have the rainbow if we didn’t have the rain; We wouldn’t know the pleasure if we never tasted pain.

We wouldn’t love the sunrise if we hadn’t felt the night; And we wouldn’t know our weakness if we hadn’t sensed God’s might.

So God’s given us a balance: enough joys to keep us glad, enough tears to keep us humble, enough good to balance bad.

And if you’ll trust in Him you’ll see though yesterday brought sorrow, the clouds will part and dawn will bring a happier tomorrow.

"THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW"
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back. Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
